Your Personal Information Is Private

Tyrex Kenya is serious about protecting our customers' personal information. You can always browse our site without providing any personal information.

While doing business with you, we may have to gather certain information, such as your name, home address, vehicle registration and email address. We will not sell, rent, trade or give away individual, personally identifiable information entered on this site to any third party. We collect such information so that we can process orders, personalize your shopping experience, or send you the latest product and other useful material. If you do not wish to receive further material from Tyrex Kenya, you can simply respond to our email or otherwise tell us that you do not want to receive future communications.

Online Orders

Tyrex Kenya also collects credit card information from you to process purchases from the site. Reputable third-party financial institutions process our credit card transactions. Tyrex Kenya may share our customers' personal and transaction information, including customer IP address, with reputable third-party fraud detection firms’ for concurrent and future fraud prevention purposes. All such firms have agreed that they will not use this personal information for any other purpose.

Payment authentication processes are live on our site, as well: Verified by VISA and MasterCard Secure Code. These programs allow users to set up password authentication for their credit cards. Once they have established a password, they can authenticate themselves using this password at any participating site. The communication regarding Verified by VISA and MasterCard Secure Code passwords is done between the cardholders and their issuing banks utilizing a secure web server. Tyrex Kenya is not involved in any of the communication regarding these passwords.

Whenever you transmit credit card information and other personal information through our site, the numbers and letters are scrambled using encryption technology, making it nearly impossible for the information to be stolen or intercepted. To protect your security, we do not allow you to store your credit card number from session to session.

We will require certain personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, email address, vehicle description, tyre description, DOT Tyre Identification Codes, and Tyrex Kenya Road Hazard Protection identification numbers, to administer Tyrex Kenya Road Hazard Protection for you.

In addition, Tyrex Kenya uses third-party advertising technology by Google to serve ads when you visit sites upon which we advertise and to assist with measuring online response to Tyrex Kenya's offline advertising. As part of this relationship, Tyrex Kenya does not share any personally identifiable information about you to Google. According Google, this technology uses information about your visits to this site and the sites upon which we advertise (not including your name, address, or other personally identifiable information), to serve our ads to you and to assist with measuring responsiveness to Tyrex Kenya's offline advertising. In the course of this activity, a unique third-party cookie may be placed or recognized on your browser. According to Google, the information we collect and share through this technology is not personally identifiable.

Tyrex Kenya uses a third-party provider for enabling Tyrex Kenya's Live Chat feature. If you are logged in to your Tyrex Kenya account and participate in Live Chat, your name, e-mail address and telephone number may be shared with the third-party provider for the sole purpose and limited extent of enabling you and Tyrex Kenya to engage in Live Chat. The provider uses various technology to protect against the unintentional disclosure of your information to anyone. The provider also is prohibited from intentionally disclosing your information to anyone or using it for any purpose other than enabling Live Chat.

If, during the ordering process, you choose to have the product that you are purchasing shipped to and/or installed by one of Tyrex Kenya's independent Recommended Installers, Tyrex Kenya will transmit to your Recommended Installer order and shipment confirmations that include your name, telephone number, vehicle make and model, order number and the product you ordered.
